BELTWAY SKEET LEAGUE

RULES

 

 

HOST CLUBS: Prince George’s County Trap & Skeet Center.

 

SHOOTING: League shooting hours is Saturday between the hours of 10:00AM and 2:00PM. League length will be SIX weeks. Each shooter shoots 50 targets. Although non-registered, NSSA rules apply. All gauges will be scored as 12 gauge. Shooters supply proof rounds. If needed, shooters may be asked to pull.

 

CLUB ELIGIBILITY: All clubs are invited to enter a team. There is no limit to the number of shooters representing a club. However, the club must have five shooters to receive a trophy. Each club entering a team will receive a trophy, which identifies its standing and shooters.

 

SHOOTER ELIGIBILITY: Shooters may shoot for any participating club. Shooters must declare the club for which they are shooting when entering the league. Shooters are not required to belong to the club for which they shoot. Changes are not permitted. Shooters may join the league at any shoot. NSSA membership is not required to participate.

 

LEAGUE STANDING: The highest five scores (including handicap) each week will be used to determined the club’s standing. The cumulative total score determines standings.

 

MAKE UP SCORE OR SHOOT AHEAD: To make a fair to all shooters that comes out to shoot on league days. Make up rounds or shoot ahead are NOT Permissible.

 

TROPHIES: The high gun for each club will receive an individual trophy. Shooters must compete in at least FIVE shoots, and at least one shoot at each host club to be eligible for the High Gun trophy. The scores used to determine league standings include handicap.

 

BANQUET: There will be a banquet on the last week of the league.

 

ENTRY: The weekly cost is $10.00 per entry. This includes targets, banquet, and trophies.
